About Getprop
Getprop is a private company in Kuils River, Cape Town. We find buyers for people who want to sell property, and we make sure that everyone at the table is who they say they are.
A private introduction service. We hold no mandates, we market no listings, we touch no purchase money. What we do is verification and matching — the unglamorous work in the middle that decides whether a deal survives.
We call ourselves the bank in the relationship between a buyer and a seller because a bank's real job isn't holding money. It's being the party both sides can believe.
We are not an estate agency and we don't hold ourselves out as one. We don't value property, we don't draft offers to purchase, and we don't advise you on price.
Where a sale needs a registered property practitioner, a conveyancer or a bond originator, we introduce you to one — and we check their credentials before we do.
Our mission
South Africa has no shortage of property. It has a shortage of certainty. Deeds that don't match the seller's name. Deposits paid into the wrong account. Buyers who were never going to be approved. We built Getprop to take those failures out of the middle of a transaction.
An introduction is a claim we're making about a person. We don't make it until we've checked it.
Purchase funds belong in a conveyancing attorney's trust account. Not in ours, not in an agent's personal account, not anywhere else.
Every introduction has a reference, a date and a record of what was verified. Memory is not a record.
Where we work
Our own ground is the Cape Town Northern Suburbs — Kuils River, Brackenfell, Kraaifontein, Durbanville, Blue Downs and Bellville. This is where we know the streets, the conveyancers and the agencies by name.
Beyond that we work through vetted partner agencies across South Africa. If we can't service your area properly, we will say so rather than take your details and go quiet.
